Warzecha Ranch and Land Services provides land clearing services in the Gonzales, Lavaca, Wilson, Dewitt, Guadalupe, Karnes, Caldwell and Bastrop Counties in South Central Texas. ✯Land Clearing

We use specialized custom-built tree grubbing excavators that allow us to quickly and effortlessly pull up by the root and stack any size trees, from small to very large trees and brush.

There are numerous advantages of pulling trees up by the root over other methods of land clearing including forestry mulching, bulldozer root plowing and bulldozer chaining methods.

One of the main advantages is the minimizing regrowth of brush. With forestry mulching the top of trees and brush are ground down to soil level height. The roots of these Mesquite and Huisache trees are still left in the ground, they will survive, and a new brushy regrowth will happen in only a short period of time.

A second advantage is minimizing the disturbance of the soil. For example, if you have improved grasses already planted on your property, pulling trees up by the root offers many advantages over dozer type root plowing where your entire property is plowed up and disturbed.

A third advantage is the minimization of leftover debris after the clearing job is completed. For example, when the dozer chaining method is performed, trees and brush are broken up into small logs and sticks, and many are left lying on top of the ground after the job is complete.

As you can see in the video, this method of small brush clearing is very fast and can cover a lot of area in a short time, thus saving you money. This method of under brush style clearing works on 3 inch and smaller mesquite, huisache and other smaller underbrush and trees.

✯Meet the owner of Warzecha Ranch Services

Lester Warzecha earned his degree in Diesel Technologies from Texas State Technical College in the early 1990's. After becoming a certified diesel mechanic, he worked for SMI operations (CMC Commercial Metals, Inc.) in Seguin, Texas. First as a diesel mechanic and then as a supervisor overseeing a fleet of trucks as well as other heavy equipment including excavators and forklifts.

After his 20+ year tenure at CMC, he and his family settled on his family's ranch located between Smiley and Westhoff, Texas where he currently runs and operates Warzecha Ranch Services.

After a lot of trial and error, blood and sweat Lester bought his first excavator with a custom-built root grubber, which he initially used to clear his own land, as well as land and brush for his friends, neighbors and family members.

Today, Warzecha Ranch Services has grown and has a fleet of land clearing and material hauling equipment, including multiply excavators, track loaders, belly and rear dump trucks.
